Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled System Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure smooth and secure operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Implement security measures, including firewalls, patch management, and data encryption.
- Manage cloud-based and on-premises IT environments.
- Automate system processes and perform routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to optimize IT performance.
- Provide technical support and documentation for system operations.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in system engineering, administration, or IT infrastructure management.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.
