Pricing: Prices are quoted in the applicable currency at the time of quotation and are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, and freight unless otherwise stated. York reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time prior to formal confirmation of an order.
Payment: Payment terms are as agreed in writing between York and the customer. Where no terms have been separately agreed, payment is due within 30 days of invoice. Overdue payments may be subject to interest charges and may result in suspension of supply.
Delivery: Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. York is not liable for delays caused by manufacturing lead times, shipping carrier delays, customs clearance, or events beyond our reasonable control. Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon handover to the carrier.

05 Warranty

York products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Full details of the warranty terms, including duration, coverage, exclusions, and the claims process, are set out in our separate warranty policy. Modifications to products, improper installation, use outside the product’s stated application, or neglect of recommended maintenance schedules will void warranty coverage.

The warranty provided does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.

06 Returns & Claims

Products may not be returned without prior written authorisation from York. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted or credited. To initiate a return or lodge a claim for damaged, incorrect, or defective goods, please contact your York representative or reach us through our website within 14 days of receiving the delivery.

Returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging unless the return is the result of a manufacturing defect. Freight costs for authorised returns are to be agreed at the time of the return authorisation.

10 Product Safety & Compliance

York products are designed and manufactured to meet applicable safety and quality standards. Our current safety and quality policies, as well as ISO and IATF certifications, are available for download in the Support & Downloads section of this website. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that products are installed correctly, used within their rated specifications, and maintained in accordance with York’s installation and service manuals. York accepts no liability for injury, damage, or loss arising from improper installation or misuse of products.

11 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms, or from the purchase of York products, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, unless a separate written agreement between York and the relevant customer specifies otherwise. We would always prefer to resolve any issue directly and amicably before formal proceedings are considered. If you have a dispute or concern, please contact us in the first instance.
